ATC LLC, US (American Tower Corporation) has selected Infozech to install its product iBill in Africa Region.

Infozech recently signed a contract with ATC-LLC for Deployment of iBill – Tower Billing system in three countries South Africa, Uganda, Ghana in African continent. ATC has presence in over 15 countries worldwide, with more than 87,000 tower sites and is NASDAQ listed company in US.

American Tower (NYSE: AMT) is a leading independent owner, operator and developer of wireless and broadcast communication real estate. Their global portfolio includes over 87,000 owned or managed sites and is experiencing steady growth. In addition to leasing space on towers, they provide customized collocation solutions through our in-building systems, outdoor distributed antenna systems and other right-of-way options, managed rooftops and services that speed network deployment. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, American Tower has offices across the United States and in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Germany, Ghana, India, Mexico, Peru, South Africa and Uganda.

The iBill module is the bill management module which generates customer bill. It has the capability of generating energy bill as well as IP bill (which is further divided into capex and opex bills). It is part of the iTower suite of products for the management of towers.

To select Infozech’s product for their African operations, they conducted five weeks long POC where they validated it for almost all of their billing models that are being currently used in the region. POC was conducted by an external power and utility expert. Implementation of iBill will be fully cloud based license model and integration of this platform with three different RMS systems. Besides this, the product will also be integrated with different ERP system for real time data exchange.
